Medicaid: News for Members
Featured story
New look to approval/denial notices
You’ve applied for one of our state programs, like BadgerCare Plus or FoodShare. Now you’re waiting to hear if your household can get benefits. What happens next? Once we’ve completed our review process, we'll mail you a letter with our decision. It tells you if you’re approved or denied. Also, it includes resources and contact details, recaps information we have on file, and has next steps (like reporting changes or sending in documents). This lengthy but essential document helps you manage your benefits.
What’s changing?
Now, these letters have an updated look and layout. If you’ve received one before, you might notice these changes:
- A new summary table on the first page shows your status at a glance.
- Updated descriptions and titles are easier to read.
- Dark blue headers separate the information into sections.
- New icons draw your attention to key items.
If you have questions about your application, contact your local or Tribal agency.
