WCRS: Web Plus

Wisconsin Cancer Reporting System (WCRS) uses Web Plus, a web-based application developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that collects cancer data securely over the public Internet. Wisconsin cancer reporting facilities are required to use Web Plus to transmit cases. Facilities who do not utilize an approved third-party commercial software to abstract cancer cases are required to use Web Plus to abstract cases. Cancer reports which are received via fax or mail are not accepted and will be rejected.

Web Plus is used for the following purposes:

  • Abstract cancer cases in Web Plus forms
  • Submit files to WCRS for cancer reporting
  • Receive files from WCRS for death clearance and other purposes
  • Submit and receive files for research requests
