Chronic Disease Prevention Roundtable Expands Connections Across Regions and Programs

Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10 a.m. (Virtual)

Join us for a one-hour collaborative session, designed as a follow-up from the Chronic Disease Prevention Program (CDPP) Regional Networking Meetings last autumn. Building on the energy and insights from those conversations, this virtual session brings partners together across regions and programs to continue strengthening collaboration in public health and chronic disease prevention.

The session begins with a brief update on the current state of public health and key headlines in chronic disease prevention. Participants will join two 20-minute interactive breakout sessions—one organized by program interest area and the other by public health region. Each breakout offers opportunities to connect, learn from peer successes, share resources, and explore challenges.

Come ready to engage, connect with colleagues old and new, and continue the collaborative spirit sparked during the fall networking sessions. This is a one-time live event and will not be recorded. Don’t miss it! Register online today!

As part of the Bureau of Community Health Promotion (BCHP), the Chronic Disease Prevention Program (CDPP) works with partners across the state to raise awareness of chronic disease prevention efforts, improve access to care, and more. Our goal is to help everyone in Wisconsin live their best lives while remaining thoughtful about how location, community, and demographics impact program delivery.

Some of our partners include:

  • Local and Tribal health departments
  • Health systems and free and charitable clinics
  • Community pharmacies
  • Employers
  • Insurers
  • Coalitions and non-profit organizations
  • Community members

We know all aspects of a person's health are connected. That means having one chronic disease often increases the risk of developing additional health conditions. From January to October, the CDPP hosts a one-hour webinar on topics relevant to partners. The meetings are recorded. The video and presentation materials (if available) are posted to this page. An American Sign Language interpreter and Spanish interpreter are present for each meeting. Participants may add their questions in the meeting chat.

CDPP Partner call schedule

CDPP Partner calls are held as Zoom meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month (January to October) from 9 to 10 a.m.
