Purpose
This page contains resources for EMS Service Directors. For additional information or clarification, please contact your regional coordinator.
Please take time to check your EMS Station's roster in E-Licensing and ensure all members listed are still with your service, removing any that are no longer on your service
Service director duties
Per Wis. Admin Code § DHS 110.48: An emergency medical service provider shall have a service director who shall:
- Serve as the primary contact between the emergency medical service provider and the department.
- Assure that all elements of the operational plan are kept current.
- Assure that EMS personnel are properly licensed and credentialed. It is recommended that you check all staff licenses to insure they are valid and you keep a copy on file
- Provide day-to-day supervision of the ambulance service provider's operations.
