Medical Advocacy

Medical advocacy, also known as patient advocacy, provides patients and caregivers the support and education they need to make medical decisions for themselves. A medical advocate may assist with communication with doctors, setting up appointments, talking with insurance companies, and supporting those they serve with other tasks associated with navigating their health care system.
