Wisconsin Wayfinder: Child Creating a Drawing With a Marker

Families know their child best. If you notice a change in your child’s emotions or behaviors, or if they appear overly anxious and worried, it’s time to talk with someone. Children's resource guides can help you find mental health professionals that are able to recognize the signs and symptoms of a behavioral or mental health condition. They will connect you with the information, supports, and resources you need.

If your child is showing self-harm behaviors or experiencing a mental health, and/or substance use crisis, call, text, or chat with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline 24/7 to connect with a trained counselor.
