WRC: Sending Funds to a Resident

This page provides instructions on how to send funds to a Wisconsin Resource Center resident online, by phone, by mail, or through an in-person, walk-in funds transfer system available at many stores. WRC uses Access Corrections and their affiliate Cash Pay Today to receive funds for residents.

Restrictions on sending funds:

  • Visitors may not give money to residents when visiting.
  • Western Union is not an option for residents to receive money.

Online

Go to Access Corrections and follow the onscreen instructions. Use the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) for the agency name. Accepts Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards.

Phone

Call Access Corrections at 866-345-1884. Accepts Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards.

Mail

This is the only way to send funds by mail through a check or money order. Checks and money orders mailed to the facility will not be accepted.

  • Fill out a Wisconsin DOC Money Order/Check Deposit Slip (PDF) and include the resident’s DOC number.
  • All writing must be legible and in blue or black ink.
  • Make checks and money orders payable to ACCESS SECURE DEPOSITS.
  • Mail the form and check or money order to:
    Secure Deposits – Wisconsin DOC
    PO Box 12486
    St Louis, MO 63132

Do not include any other items in the envelope such as photos or letters—they will be discarded.

In person, walk in
