Type
Description
In Wisconsin, a person or group must be certified to work with lead-based paint. This includes lead renovation and abatement work. It also includes lead-based paint inspection, risk assessment and post renovation and post abatement clearance.
A certified lead company must hire or contract certified people to do lead work.
Duration
Two or four years.
Fees
$125 for two years. $250 for four years. State and local government agencies and workers don’t have to pay the fee.
