Opioids, Stimulants, and Trauma Summit
The Opioids, Stimulants, and Trauma Summit is an annual event that highlights prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery strategies related to opioids, stimulants, and trauma. All people with an interest in building healthy communities are invited to attend.
Sessions at this event cover topics related to the work of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, mental health and substance use professionals, social workers, educators, elected officials, and community leaders.
This event is organized by the Division of Care and Treatment Services and Wisconsin Connect, a service of the Center for Urban Population Health. The Center for Urban Population Health is made up of faculty and staff from the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, UW-Milwaukee, and Advocate Aurora Research Institute.
May 6-8, 2025: Wisconsin Dells and Virtual
Join us at the Kalahari Resort or online May 6-8, 2025. The first two days will be full days of activities. The last day will be a half day of activities. In-person only preconference activities at the Kalahari Resort are planned for May 5.
Information on the agenda and the registration fee is expected to be posted here no later than January 2025. The registration fee for the activities May 6-8 is expected to fall within the $250 to $375 range for in-person attendance and the $200 to $275 range for virtual attendance. There will be a separate registration fee for the May 5 preconference activities.
Continuing education credits will be offered to all people who participate in the live event. Most sessions will be recorded. The recordings will be available at no cost to all registered participants. No continuing education credits will be awarded for watching the recordings.
