Prerequisites
Grocery and pharmacy vendors must:
- Be located in Wisconsin.
- Have a set location and regular hours of operation.
- Charge fair prices for WIC foods. Prices for WIC foods must not be more than 115% of the average price other vendors charge in the Local WIC Project Service Area.
- Have enough WIC foods stocked.
- Have a good history with WIC, SNAP/FoodShare Program, and other food and nutrition programs from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
- Have a satisfactory site visit.
- Complete a training session.
