Description

An AFH license is for facilities where three or four adults (aged 18 and older), who aren't related to the licensee, live. AFH residents also get services, care, or treatment that's beyond room and board. This can include up to seven hours per week of nursing care per person.

Duration

An adult family home license is valid indefinitely unless suspended or revoked.

Fees

$171 for two years. The Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), Bureau of Assisted Living, sends facility reports and fee notices to the AFH every two years.
