Family Health Survey

The Wisconsin Family Health Survey is a statewide random-sample telephone survey of Wisconsin household residents, including children. Each year we interview approximately 2,400 households and collect data about approximately 5,400 Wisconsin residents. We collect information on topics, such as health insurance coverage, health status, health problems, use of health care services, and demographic characteristics of Wisconsin residents. We provide annual data on these topics to public health professionals and policymakers. The results are used to assess progress on public health goals and plan health promotion programs.
