HIV Treatment Works: Live Undetectable

Undetectable = Untransmittable

Human Immunodeficiency Virus, known as HIV, is a virus that weakens a person's immune system by destroying important cells that fight disease or infection.

While there is currently no cure for HIV, the virus can be controlled with the right treatment and medical care.

U=U, which stands for Undetectable = Untransmittable, is a worldwide campaign built on science that shows HIV cannot be passed through sex if the virus is undetectable. Sharing the message of U=U is a powerful tool for breaking down HIV stigma (PDF).

Learn about the Prevention Access Campaign and how U=U is changing the narrative around living and loving with HIV.
