About us

A consortium is made up of county agencies. They are called income maintenance or economic support agencies. There are 11 consortia, or groups of these agencies, across the state.

County agencies can help you apply for or enroll in programs as BadgerCare Plus, Medicaid, and FoodShare. You can apply for services at any of the agencies in your consortium.

Forest County update (starting January 1, 2026)

Forest County members will get support with benefits through Milwaukee Enrollment Services (MilES) Forest County Unit. Call 833-319-3091 or visit ACCESS (ACCESS in Spanish). If you are receiving services through Forest County Potawatomi or Sokaogon Tribal agencies, you will continue to be served through those agencies.

If you’re applying for or are in FoodShare, you can complete your interview in person at the agency. You can also call 888-794-5722 to make an appointment for an interview or complete the interview without an appointment over the phone during these hours:
