What volunteers do

RSVP volunteers serve up to 40 hours each week at different organizations. These may include hospitals, youth centers, police stations, schools, and more. RSVP tries to match volunteers with work that fits their interests and skills. You might:

  • Tutor at-risk youth.
  • Design and plant community gardens.
  • Set up a computer system for a community health organization.
  • Do other projects that help meet local needs.

RSVP contacts

Volunteers work with local public and private non-profits. Contact the RSVP director in your county to learn more and sign up.
