Opioids, Stimulants, and Trauma Summit

The Opioids, Stimulants, and Trauma Summit is an annual event that highlights prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery strategies related to opioids, stimulants, and trauma. All people with an interest in building healthy communities are invited to attend.

Registration
Registration is required for this event. Registration is expected to open February 14. The registration fee schedule listed above is subject to change. The registration fee includes access to all sessions May 6, 7, and 8.
Single day passes for May 6, 7, and 8 are not available. Three-day registration is the only option to attend the conference. All registrants will have access to recordings of sessions on May 6, 7, and 8 they were unable to attend.
There is a separate registration fee for the in-person only preconference activities on May 5. This registration fee has not yet been set.
No scholarships are available for this event.
Agenda
Details on the preconference activities, four keynote speakers, listening session, and more than 30 workshops will be shared no later than February 14.
- May 5: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (three optional in-person preconference activities for a separate registration fee)
- May 6: 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (two keynote presentations and three breakout sessions with five workshops each)
- May 7: 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (two keynote presentations and three breakout sessions with five workshops each)
- May 8: 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (listening session and one breakout session with four workshops)
The topics covered at this event will relate to the work of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, mental health and substance use professionals, social workers, educators, elected officials, and community leaders.
Lodging
A block of rooms at the Kalahari Resort has been set aside for this event at a special rate of $98 per night for single occupancy. The hotel room block is not yet open for reservations.
Continuing education units
Continuing education units are available to all people who participate in the live event. No continuing education units are available for watching session recordings when they are available.
Exhibitors
There is no space for exhibitors at this event. All registered attendees are welcome to share information about programs and services in the Whova app at no cost.
This event is organized by the Division of Care and Treatment Services and Wisconsin Connect, a service of the Center for Urban Population Health. The Center of Urban Population Health is made up of faculty and staff from the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, UW-Milwaukee, and Advocate Aurora Research Institute.
