Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program
End of federal government shutdown.
The government shutdown is over and the federal government is now open. We do not anticipate any further disruptions of FoodShare or WIC benefits for the remainder of the federal fiscal year. FoodShare and WIC benefits are fully funded through September 30, 2026. You can continue to use your WIC benefits, attend WIC appointments, and do not need to take any action. Contact your local WIC agency with any questions.
The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (Senior FMNP) provides older adults with fresh, locally grown produce, while supporting Wisconsin farmers, markets, and farmstands.
