Domestic Partnerships

Effective August 1, 2009, Wis. Stat. ch. 69, designated domestic partnership documents as "vital records" and allowed same-sex partners in Wisconsin to establish a Declaration of Domestic Partnership. The first working day that these declarations were accepted at County Clerk offices was Monday, August 3, 2009. The last working day that these declarations were accepted at County Clerk offices was March 30, 2018.

All domestic partnerships filed with the State Vital Records Office are included in the tables below. The tables also show all filed terminations of domestic partnership.
