Limitations/Comments:
As demonstrated by the lack of research, it remains unclear how to
effectively improve social connectedness in order to improve health
outcomes. Researchers in this field are still concerned with establishing
the relationship between social connectedness and health. Perhaps once
this relationship is proven, research into the effectiveness of
interventions to improve social connectedness will commence.
