Wisconsin was one of five states invited to apply for transition funds from
the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to present Public Health and Policy Horizons
conferences. Their purpose is to showcase data, information, and policy that
will strengthen Wisconsin's public health system capacity to respond to 21st
century emerging threats and challenges and protect the health and safety of the
public.
Wisconsin held two (repeating) conferences in 2006. These conferences continue the tradition of bringing
Healthiest Wisconsin 2010 and the Wisconsin Turning Point Initiative to
Wisconsin communities.
