Milwaukee Enrollment Services Facility
The Department of Health Services will be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the permanent site for the Milwaukee Enrollment Services facility during the week of June
1, 2009. Individuals, businesses, or organizations that own a large building, 80,000 square feet in central Milwaukee, and might be willing to lease to the State of Wisconsin should consider submitting a proposal for the department’s
consideration.

Food Stamp Employment Training (FSET) Program Services

On February 16, 2009, the Department of Health Services (DHS), Division
of Health Care Access and Accountability (DHCAA), issued a Request for
Proposals (RFP) to contract with one or more qualified vendors to manage
and/or deliver Food Stamp Employment and Training (FSET) program services
throughout

The FSET program
provides FoodShare recipients the assistance and support they need to
obtain competitive employment. DHS is seeking innovative proposals that
will increase FSET participation in

The 2007-09 biennial budget act (2007 Wisconsin Act 20), enacted by the
Governor and Wisconsin Legislature, requires the Department of Health
Services (DHS), formerly the Department of Health and Family Services, to
issue a request for proposals for the provision of pharmacy management
services for all state treatment facilities. Once the proposals are
evaluated, DHS will then assess whether the objectives of the proposal
stated in 1.3 of this RFP can be achieved through a contract for pharmacy
management services.
The Wisconsin DHS facilities include Mendota Mental Health Institute
and Central Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled in Madison,
Winnebago Mental Health Institute and the Wisconsin Resource Center in
Winnebago, Southern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled in
Union Grove, Northern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled in
Chippewa Falls, and Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center in Mauston.

Community Rehabilitation Provider Rebalancing Initiative
On December 1, 2008 the State of Wisconsin, Department of Health
Services, Division of Long-Term Care, Bureau of Aging and Disability
Resources, Office for Independence and Employment, Pathways to
Independence Initiative announced the release of an RFP to support
individuals with disabilities in their desires to be involved and
contributing members to their communities.
Proposals must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. CST Friday,
January 30, 2009.

Pathways to Independence Regional Grants
The Pathways to Independence project within the Wisconsin Department of
Health Services, Division of Long-Term Care is offering grant funds up to
$480,000 statewide to decrease barriers to and increase opportunities for
person-centered, integrated employment in order to support people with
disabilities in achieving their desired employment outcomes.

Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (RFP #
G1664-DMHSAS-BC)
The Department of Health Services is issuing a request for proposals to
provide eligible community coalitions with information to enable them to
prepare and submit a proposal to plan and implement a community Strategic
Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF SIG). This grant is
intended to support communities to develop plans to implement
environmental strategies aimed at population level changes that will
reduce underage drinking, young adult binge among 18-25 years old, or
alcohol-related motor vehicle fatalities and injuries among 18-34 year
olds.
