Visiting Information for the Adult Assessment and Treatment Unit (AATU)

Patient Phones:
To contact a friend or relative on the unit please call one of the unit phones.

Visiting Policies:
No one under 18 admitted without prior approval. Staff will ask for identification prior to the visit. Leave all personal items (i.e., cell phones, purses) in the car (except for ID). Food brought in must be sealed and consumed during visits.

Visiting Hours:
Weekdays: 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Weekends: 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Items Not Allowed On The Unit:

  • Matches, lighters

  • Flammable liquid, aerosol cans

  • Tape recorders, cameras, cell phones

  • Hangers, spiral notebooks

  • Eating Utensils

  • Alcohol, drugs

  • Glass of any kind

  • Tools, knives

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Straight or disposable razors

  • Perishable foods

NOTE: Questionable items will be examined by staff and returned to you if not allowed on the unit.
