The Division of Health Care Financing is pleased to provide a copy of the new Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Pathology Services Handbook to providers. This handbook is a guide to Wisconsin Medicaid for all Medicaid-certified physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech and language pathology (SLP) providers. II (published in January 1997), the Occupational Therapy Services Handbook - Part P, Div. I (published in March 1998), the Speech and Language Pathology Handbook (published in July 2003), and all previously published PT, OT, and SLP services Wisconsin Medicaid and BadgerCare Updates.
The new Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Pathology Services Handbook is dated January 2006. However, outpatient hospital PT, OT, and SLP providers are not required to follow the requirements published in this handbook until March 1, 2006.
All-Provider Publications
Providers are reminded to retain their all-provider publications. The Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Pathology Services Handbook does not replace these publications.
