Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

assessment  birth
finds documents containing 'assessment' or 'birth.'

assessment OR birth
same as above.

assessment AND birth
finds documents containing both 'assessment' and 'birth.'

assessment NOT birth
finds documents containing 'assessment' but not 'birth.'

(assessment NOT birth) AND reimbursement
finds documents containing 'injections' plus 'reimbursement,' but not 'birth.'

assess*
finds documents in a wild card search that starts with 'assess,' (i.e., assess, assessment, assessments).
