Tools for Wellness -
Regional
Workshops on the
Wisconsin Worksite Wellness Resource Kit
The purpose
of the regional workshops is to encourage Wisconsin
worksites to implement wellness programs as part of the vision to become
one of the healthiest states in the country. The workshops focus on
the practical application of the Wisconsin Worksite Wellness Resource
Kit. The kit is a tool designed to assist worksites with implementing
strategies that have been proven to be effective and walks you through the
process of developing a worksite wellness program or expanding an existing
wellness program.

Recent
Trainings
The most
recent trainings were held June 2, 2009 in Stevens Point and June 10,
2009
in Madison (Informational
Flyer, PDF, 86KB) . The primary target for these workshops
were wellness
providers and trainers (health providers and insurers, local health
departments, YMCAs, etc.) that are already doing outreach and providing
services to individual worksites. A
secondary audience target were individual employer groups (wellness
coordinators, human resources staff, health nurses, etc).
