  • Legislation database.  The nutrition and physical activity legislative database is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) site that allows users to search for state-level bills related to nutrition and physical activity topics.

  • Lighten' Up Wisconsin 

    Lighten' Up Wisconsin is a five-month team challenge that encourages team members to make small, realistic and permanent changes in their dietary and exercise habits that will last a lifetime.  The challenge runs form January 9, 2006 to June 9, 2006.

  • Make Your Calories Count - Make Your Calories Count is an interactive learning program that provides consumers with information to help plan a healthful diet while managing calorie intake. The exercises will help consumers use the food label to make decisions about which food choice is right for them.

  • Menu Planner - An interactive menu planner designed to guide daily food and meal choices based on your daily calorie allowance. For directions on how to use the Menu Planner, click on About the Menu Planner.

  • MyPyramid.Gov (Food Guide Pyramid): Interested in a plan that provides you with recommendations for healthier eating? Released in April 2005 by the USDA, this new dietary guidance system, called MyPyramid: Steps to a Healthier You, has replaced the Food Guide Pyramid. Visit this interactive website for a personal plan, as well as tips and suggestions for eating healthier and being physically active.

  • What Works in Worksites (PDF, 480 KB) - A two-page summary of evidence-based and promising strategies that focus on helping people eat healthier and be more active in the work place.  
  • The Worksite Wellness Resource Kit is a tool to assist worksites with implementing strategies that have been proven to be effective.  The kit walks you through the process of developing a worksite wellness program.
