 Diabetes at Work

Diabetes At Work (exit DHS) is a national worksite wellness website sponsored by the National Diabetes Education Program, which is a cooperative effort between the Centers for Disease Control and the National Institutes of Health.

DiabetesAtWork.org helps businesses and managed care companies assess the impact of diabetes in the workplace and provides information to assist their employees in diabetes prevention and control.  The website features a variety of helpful tools such as assessment calculators, lesson plans for lunch and learns, fact sheets on a variety of diabetes topics, and information on how to evaluate a wellness program.

This resource kit can help your company assess the impact of diabetes in the workplace.  It also provides information to help employees manage their diabetes and take steps to reduce their risk for diabetes-related complications.

If you would like more information on Diabetes At Work or would like assistance in starting a worksite wellness program in your organization, please email Pam Geis or call her at (262) 677-0555.
