Disability Benefit Specialist Program

Disability benefit specialist services currently are provided in the following counties and tribes:

The following counties do not yet offer Disability Benefit Specialist services: Adams, Dane, Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Langlade, Lincoln, Marinette, Menominee, Milwaukee, Oconto, Oneida, Rock, Shawano, Taylor, Vilas, Walworth, and Winnebago.  

Disability Benefit Specialist services are also not yet offered to the following tribes: Bad River, Forest County Potawatomi, Ho Chunk, Lac Courte Oreilles, Lac du Flambeau, Menominee, Oneida, Red Cliff, Sokoagan Chippewa, and Stockbridge Munsee.  

No services available in your county or tribe?  If there are no Disability Benefits Specialist services available through your county or tribe at this time, please stay tuned for updates.  The Disability Benefit Specialist Program is in the process of statewide expansion.  If you need immediate assistance with an issue related to your benefits, you may contact Disability Benefit Specialist Program Manager Phoebe Hefko at the Department of Health Services for assistance in locating alternative resources in your area.
