Infection Control

The infection control quality improvement nurse at Central Wisconsin Center participates in numerous committees and task forces. Including the Nurse Practice, Nurse Procedure, Nurse Clinician 3, Emergency Care, and Infection Control committees. Infection control and quality improvement is an ongoing endeavor, which requires continual research, and interpretation of regulations to ensure that CWC remains in compliance with standards of practice. The IC Nurse also collects nursing acuity and audits annual nursing documentation to ensure quality improvement and compliance with state and federal regulations.
