Mental Health Review Officers

A new section of the law (ss. 51.14(2), Stats.) requires each court with jurisdiction over minors under Chapters 48 and 938 to designate a Mental Health Review Officer (MHRO) to review the outpatient mental health treatment of minors aged 14 or older. The Department of Health Services is required per ss. 51.14(7), Stats., to publish a list of those MHROs on its Internet site. The following map will list designated MHROs by county.
