Survey Topics
Some of the topics in the PRAMS survey include:
- Attitudes and feelings about pregnancy
- Prenatal care
- Smoking and alcohol use prior to and during pregnancy
- Pregnancy-related violence
- Stressful events during pregnancy
- Health insurance coverage
- Postpartum depression
Additionally, Wisconsin (with CDC approval) added questions on several
topics:
- Emotional effects of being treated differently because of race
- Oral health
- Breastfeeding
- Co-sleeping
