Lead poisoning is the most serious environmental health threat facing young children in the U.S. The rate of lead poisoning in Wisconsin in 2006 was more than double the national average.

In this Wisline, we will discuss:

  • how lead affects children
  • identification and assessment of children with lead poisoning
  • multi-disciplinary response and communication
  • prevention
