  • The Gerontological Nutritionists (exit DHFS) (GN) members provide and manage nutrition programs and services to older adults in a variety of settings: community, home health care facilities, and education and research facilities. GN is a Dietetic Practice Group of the American Dietetic Association.
  • The The Meals on Wheels Association of America (exit DHFS) represents those who provide congregate and home-delivered meal services to people in need.
  • The National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (exit DHFS) is a professional membership organization with members drawn primarily from persons working in or interested in the field of aging, community-based services, and nutrition and the elderly.

Resources

  • The National Policy & Resource Center on Nutrition & Aging (exit DHFS) provides national leadership in Aging, Nutrition and Extension Networks; placing and enhancing food and nutrition services in the mainstream of home- and community-based social, health and long-term care delivery systems serving older individuals.
