Division of Public Health
The Division of Public Health (DPH) is responsible for environmental and public health
regulation, and for providing public health services. The Division includes programs
that address environmental and occupational health, family and community health,
emergency medical services and injury prevention, chronic disease prevention and health
promotion, and communicable diseases. It is also responsible for
issuing birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates as well as
collecting statistics related to the
health of Wisconsin's population.
