Treatment Programs
at Sand Ridge
Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center offers a range of treatment programs
for its patients designed to meet the specific needs of sexually violent
persons.
The inpatient treatment program consists of several phases and components
with a multi-disciplinary approach. It is based on a psycho-social rehab
model with an emphasis on cognitive-behavioral and relapse prevention
techniques. The length of time in treatment is dependent upon successful
program completion as evidenced by the patient's consistent demonstration of
mastery of self-management skills.
Other treatment tools include anti-androgen therapy, plethysmograph and
polygraph testing.
