The Heart Disease and Stroke (HDS) Alliance is a statewide group interested in the prevention and control of heart disease and stroke in Wisconsin.  The Alliance is working with the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services on the writing of a state health plan for heart disease and stroke.  The Alliance is also working to support and assist in the development of programs and projects that will assist in the prevention of heart disease and stroke.  Additionally, the Alliance members provide information to increase the public's awareness of the risk factors and prevention measures for heart disease and stroke.

Membership in the HDS Alliance is not limited.  Questions, comments, or inquiries on becoming a member should be directed to Fred Petillo, (Fred.Petillo@wisconsin.gov, or 608-267-7809)
