Regional CYSHCN Centers  |  Wisconsin First Step


Regional CYSHCN Centers

  • Five Regional CYSHCN Centers in Wisconsin provide free and confidential assistance to providers and children with special health care needs and their families.
  • Regional CYSHCN Center staff is available to answer questions, provide information and referrals, and to assist with specific needs.
  • The Regional CYSHCN Centers can be contacted Monday through Friday, between 8:00 A. M. and 5:00 P.M. 

Regional CYSHCN Centers Services:  

  • Provide a system of information, referral and follow-up services so all families of children and youth with special health care needs and providers have access to complete and accurate information.
  • Referrals are made to various agencies and programs, as appropriate, based on the information requested and the need for follow-up services.
  • Promote parent support opportunities to assure all families have access to parent support services and health benefits counseling.
  • Provide a network of community providers for local service coordination, including linkages with Local Public Health Departments to improve access to local service coordination.

Wisconsin First Step
