Regional CYSHCN Centers
- Five Regional CYSHCN Centers in Wisconsin provide free and
confidential assistance to providers and children with special health
care needs and their families.
- Regional CYSHCN Center staff is available to answer questions,
provide information and referrals, and to assist with specific needs.
- The Regional CYSHCN Centers can be contacted Monday through Friday,
between 8:00 A. M. and 5:00 P.M.
Regional CYSHCN Centers Services:
- Provide a system of information, referral and follow-up services so
all families of children and youth with special health care needs and providers
have access to complete and accurate information.
- Referrals are made to various agencies and programs, as appropriate,
based on the information requested and the need for follow-up
services.
- Promote parent support opportunities to assure all families
have access to parent support services and health benefits counseling.
- Provide a network of community providers for local service
coordination, including linkages with Local Public Health Departments
to improve access to local service coordination.

Wisconsin First Step
The Wisconsin First Step Hotline supports the Regional CYSHCN Centers by
providing statewide information and referrals for providers and families.
